You have navigated life as a true third culture spirit: independent, resilient, and, of course, always impeccably dressed.

But more impressive than the places you’ve been are the bonds you’ve built. As you scroll, you’ll hear a common thread in the voices of your family and friends. They speak of a woman with deep empathy from a young age, and someone who always celebrates everyone else's wins the loudest. They speak of your brilliant artistry, your "delightfully OCD" attention to detail, your fierce loyalty, and the intentional, compassionate way you mother our boys.

To think that I saw you learn how to swim in my pool and now see you teach your boys how to swim in the same pool is mind boggling.

Asking your Uncle Horacio to walk you in the Church on your wedding day meant so much to him as he always had this special connection with you.

Happy 40th to my brilliantly artistic, wildly creative, delightfully OCD niece — raising two boys like it’s an extreme sport… and still looking fabulous doing it. Welcome to 40 — the age when the kids get wilder and your patience gets shorter.
